When KB Home opened the Quarry at Iron Mountain in 2006, it was on the way to becoming the premiere KB Home community in the Texas area developed by this builder. Unfortunately, the decisions and actions by KB Home have added to its poor credibility and terrible reputation that has historically resided in the greater San Antonio market. KB Home has typically been known for making poorly constructed homes resulting in bad outcomes in terms of quality, and now they have a proven track record of devaluing homes at a rate four to five fold of the area average because of their deficient development practices.
